It’s competition time – Parvo kills – vaccinate now!

Every year many dogs contract this often fatal virus, which is so easily prevented by regular vaccinations.

2015 was one of the worst years on record for Parvovirus infection. This year in an attempt to eradicate this virus from Geraldton we have launched a campaign to alert dog owners to the importance of vaccination.

With the permission of the City of Greater Geraldton, and the support of Boehringer Ingelheim Australia, we have painted stencils on the pavements throughout many areas of Geraldton.

To enter the competition:

1. Find one of the stencils

2. Take a selfie with you and your dog at the stencil. Get creative!

3. Bring the photo and proof of current vaccination to Chapman Animal Hospital

We will then enter your dog into the draw to win their next Annual Wellness Check and C3 (Parvovirus, Distemper, Hepatitis) vaccine free.

The more people we reach, the more dogs we can protect, so tell everyone you know to vaccinate to help keep 2016 Parvovirus infection free.

Also, listen out for Dr Sarah Mason on Radio station Red FM 98.1. Today talking about Pancreatitis and our Parvovirus campaign.
